General Terms & Conditions of Carriage

1. Bookings (Contract Conclusion):
Bookings can be made in writing, by phone, fax, or email. The booking is made by the registrant on behalf of all participants named in the booking, for whose contractual obligations the registrant is responsible as for their own obligations.
Each booking is confirmed by Aux Express and is binding. Any booking made at least 24 hours before the trip will be confirmed in writing. Same-day bookings will be confirmed by phone or SMS to the mobile number provided during booking.
The customer is obliged to immediately check the booking confirmation for inaccuracies, errors, and inconsistencies and to notify Aux Express promptly.
Key booking details, such as departure time, arrival time, flight number, etc., must be provided before the journey. The booking customer is responsible for this. Changes or additions to important flight details must be communicated by phone at Tel: +49 821 / 000 000 or by fax at +49 821 / 000 000. If you receive important flight information only at the airport, please call us at Tel: +49 821 / 000 000 or fax the flight information to us. Under no circumstances is it sufficient to give missing flight details to the driver.
2. Prices
The prices listed on the website or included in the offer apply. All stated prices are gross prices and include the applicable VAT. The prices are subject to change. Expenses or order-related additional costs will be added to the invoice amount.
3. Luggage
Aux Express must be informed of the luggage (suitcases and number of pieces) as well as their size at the time of booking.
Additional and bulky luggage will only be transported upon prior notification and for an additional fee. This includes, in particular, diving or golf equipment, large sports gear, firearms, etc.
Strollers and foldable wheelchairs, however, will be transported free of charge but must be registered at the time of booking. Bulky goods or luggage items not specified during booking may not be transported.
Luggage will be transported in the transfer vehicle itself whenever possible. If this is not possible, Aux Express reserves the right to transport the luggage in a vehicle trailer or a second vehicle.
4. Pickup – Home Address
For shared rides, Aux Express sets the departure times according to the flight time(s). These are based on travel time, traffic buffer, and the regulations of charter and scheduled airlines. Aux Express reserves the right to combine pickup addresses for shared rides, plan the route geographically, and adjust the corresponding pickup times (max. 60 minutes).
Only if the customer explicitly books an individual transfer (business ride) will guests be transported directly and exclusively.
The customer can set the pickup times themselves. If the customer sets desired times, Aux Express generally excludes any liability.
5. Pickup – Airport
Pickup is carried out by a driver from Aux Express Augsburg directly at the reception area of the arrival terminal.
If Aux Express staff are delayed, the customer must remain near the reception area of the arrival terminal within the building. This is mandatory to ensure smooth pickup. In case of delays, the customer can contact Aux Express during office hours at +49 821 / 000 000. Outside business hours, the emergency number +49 821 / 000 000 can be found on the voicemail message.
The customer must accept a waiting time at the airport for other arriving flights of up to 60 minutes.
6. Customer Delays
Pickup at the airport is scheduled according to the arrival time (landing). No additional costs are incurred for delays or a waiting time of up to 60 minutes. For delays exceeding 60 minutes, a flat fee will be charged.
If there are flight delays or cancellations on the return journey, the customer is obliged to inform Aux Express by phone at +49 821 / 000 000 or the 24-hour emergency number +49 821 / 000 000.
It is also possible that the vehicle initially completes its current trip if the delay exceeds 60 minutes. Affected passengers may have to wait for the next vehicle or until the vehicle returns. Return transport will be ensured!
If the traveler changes the schedule at a later time, there is no entitlement to transport or a refund.
7. Cancellation Conditions
The client may cancel the transfer free of charge up to 24 hours before the trip. The transfer must be canceled in writing. Otherwise, cancellation fees will apply.
100% of the order value applies in the following cases:
If canceled less than 24 hours before the trip.
If the customer fails to show up at the agreed time.
The calculation of the order value is generally to the customer’s advantage and may be limited to a reasonable expense allowance. The customer is free to prove that the actual costs or damage incurred are lower.
No costs will be incurred by the customer if the flight is canceled, provided that they present Aux Express with the airline’s cancellation confirmation.
8. Change of Flight Details / Rebooking
If it becomes apparent during the customer’s trip that the return flight has significantly changed, the booking party is obliged to inform Aux Express.
The customer must notify Aux Express if rebooked to a flight with a different flight number. Due to data protection, Aux Express does not receive notifications of flight changes from the airline.
9. Exclusion from Transport
Persons who pose a threat to safety and order are excluded from transport, in particular:
Persons under the influence of alcoholic beverages or other intoxicating substances.
Persons carrying firearms, unless authorized to carry them (the permit must be presented without request and prior notification).
If a passenger violates their obligations, they may be excluded from transport. Aux Express’s claim to the anticipated order value remains fully valid after exclusion from transport.
10. Warranty / Liability
Aux Express is liable within the scope of a diligent businessperson’s duty for the careful preparation of the agreed trips and the contractually agreed travel service.
Aux Express does not accept liability for unforeseeable events, especially those beyond Aux Express’s control.
As far as insurance coverage exists within the framework of statutory liability insurance, Aux Express is liable to the customer in the event of damage within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions. If the liability insurance is not obligated to pay, Aux Express’s liability for property damage and loss is limited to a maximum of EUR 1,000 per booking, unless the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for the consequences of delays in cases of slight negligence is excluded.
The customer is obliged to report any complaints about the service in writing to Aux Express without delay, no later than 14 days after the end of the trip associated with the service.
11. Vehicle Failure
If there is a vehicle failure due to Aux Express’s fault, costs of up to a maximum of 80 euros for a taxi ride to the respective airport will be covered. Any further liability is excluded.
Passengers are responsible for any additional insurance themselves.
If a passenger misses their flight due to Aux Express’s fault, the additional costs will be covered by Aux Express after the written submission and review of the relevant confirmations/documents.
Aux Express will endeavor to provide a vehicle in the event of other delays. However, in exceptional situations such as air traffic controller strikes or extremely bad weather conditions, longer waiting times may have to be accepted by the customer.
Aux Express is not liable for delays caused by high traffic density, traffic jams, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or force majeure (e.g., bad weather conditions) or delays for which the customer is responsible.
For all delays that are not Aux Express’s responsibility, the customer has no entitlement to alternative transport.
12. Data Protection
The customer is informed in accordance with § 33 para. 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) that Aux Express stores and processes the data required to fulfill the contract in machine-readable form. No data will be shared with third parties.
13. Place of Performance, Jurisdiction
The place of performance is Augsburg. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes with merchants, legal entities under public law, or persons who do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany – including bill and check cases – is Augsburg. Aux Express may also sue the customer at the court responsible for their domicile.

14. Severability Clause
Should any provision or part of a provision of these terms be wholly or partially invalid or lose its legal validity later, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The statutory provisions shall replace the invalid clauses. The same applies if these terms contain an unforeseen gap.
